Lachlan Turner

Lachlan Turner (born 11th May, 1987, Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian rugby union player contracted to the NSW Waratahs.

Turner plays club rugby for Eastwood and usually plays as a winger. In 2006 Turner became the first person to take out the Chris Whitaker Aspiring Waratah Award for the most outstanding player in the NSW Waratah Academy. He established himself in the Waratahs first team during the disappointing 2007 season. The highlight of the season for Turner came during the clash against the Crusaders at Aussie Stadium when he scored a solo try from his own half, beating several defenders for pace.
Turner graduated from Newington College in 2005 to represent Australia at u/19 level, and made his Waratahs debut against QLD in the 2006 APC.
