Lac-Etchemin is a village of 3,800 people in the Les Etchemins Regional County Municipality, Quebec, Canada and is part of the Chaudière-Appalaches administrative region. It is the county seat of the RCM. Lac-Etchemin takes its name from the Etchemin Lake which is right in the centre of the village.
