Labour Party of Brazil

The Labour Party of Brazil (Partido Trabalhista do Brasil, PTdoB) is a tiny populist-centrist Brazilian political party.

It was founded in 1989 by dissidents of the Brazilian Labour Party and is a much minor force in Brazilian politics. In brasilian General Elections in 2006 the party elected one representant in Federal Chamber, and had 0,3% of the national votes to Legislative (311,000 votes). In 1994 Presidencial elections had a candidate, João de Deus Barbosa, and had 200,000 votes (0,2%). They controll some local concilliours, and the local government in 20 small cities in Brazil.
