[edit] A380 involvement

Labinal also produces the wiring for the Airbus A380 large passenger aircraft. This project has been plagued with delivery delays attributed to the wiring, which has led to tensions and mutual assignations of blame between the German and French Airbus subsidiaries. According to a source quoted by the German newspaper Die Zeit,[1] Airbus ignored the fact that Labinal was not capable of meeting the project's wiring demands in terms of quantity and complexity. The company was reported to be looking for 100 qualified employees as of 2005.
