[edit] Breakdown by network type
Is it really nessicary to break the stations down by newtoek type, imo no. Not only does it add uneeded bulk to the box, it makes it extremely more difficult to navigate, and breaks what i belive is the usage of the nav box, which is to navigate between the channles by nuber or frequency not by programming. Information of the programming should be included in the articles, not the box, or in a seperat article. I plan on reverting the changes witin the nex 24hours, if some one ca not convincwe me to do other wise. --Boothy443 | trácht ar 00:11, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
- The new version was HUGE and UGLY! I reverted to the smaller version, plus deleted the red-linked city of LA-only cable stations. BlankVerse 09:22, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

- Well, looks like CoolKatt number 99999 reverted your revert (sans cable channels). I'm not gonna start a revert war, but I'll say on the record whoever wants to change it back to the small version has my support. - Hinto 21:40, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
Well, it came back in much larger form, also by CoolKatt number 99999, and with formatting that didn't handle bolding right. I have reverted back to February 25. --WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 00:00, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Seperate templates
I have called for another solution to the network type sort problem: break the stations into 5 different templates as I proposed here: User:CoolKatt number 99999/Sandbox. Yes, that is my custom sandbox. The main LA TV template would then provide links to the 5 station templates. The main template and the station type template would be on the station article, for example, KCBS-TV would have the Major Network Affiliates template and the main template.
