[edit] Viewing in the US
I was reading that La Fea is one of the most watched show here in the US. [1] (Spanish) I Think we should put that on here, anyone agree and I'll put it on. --Ben 20:28, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
yes, i agree the info show be added (if true of course). one question i have - is if these shows are so popular, why doesn't Univision provide English translated shows for it's American viewers? Please, Univision are you listening??? user: avalee
I just love to watch this soap! I love Angelica Vale as Lety and most certainly have come to love and feel compassion for "Don Fernando's" role. I hope they end up together and happily ever after!
[edit] Format
This article is horribly written and organized. Someone PLEASE fix it, I know nothing about this show so I don't wanna mess with it. Jorobeq 06:44, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- agreed. The section on the plot is like 10-15 paragraphs long. I just wanted to know a basic synopsis of the show. Long explanations are fine, but put a short one somewhere. In the introduction for example. i don't want to have to read 10 paragraphs and remember all of the character's names to know the premise of the show. -anon

- That part especially peeved me Jorobeq 16:11, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
- yeah this article construction is anti-encyclopedical ! Faridsaavedra 08:17, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
It seems like whoever wrote it wanted to have an ongoing, detailed plot summary and spoilers. I think it's ok that have a long section of plot summary so long as someone includes a shorter synopsis.
I agree that this article is horribly written--it has clearly just been translated from Spanish. EMPRESA is NOT ENTERPRISE in this context! I tried to go through and correct translation errors but it would take forever.
[edit] Synopsis is in first paragraph after the spoiler warning
Whoever translated or created this article had a Herculean task. Trying to condense 216 episodes, which is the equivalent of nine TV seasons at 23 shows, was not easy. Combine this with the language translation/difficulty and you just begin to understand what the author accomplished. I have yet to see an article in Spanish that this article may have substantially been "borrowed" from. I came in on this telenovela midstream in its current run because I enjoy the singers who populate this show: José José, Angélica María, Angélica Vale and Patricia Navidad. To see Angélica Vale and Jaime Camil sing in the show is priceless. Plus, in an episode I missed, Angélica Vale does a parody of herself singing off-key as Lety to her song which is now being shown as the end theme song. In my humble estimation, it would be neat to break this telenovela out to individual pages like the Star Trek TOS pages in this wiki or even a wiki of its own. There is so much info about this show which is why you see a long page. If you have ever read an encyclopedia on a major treatise, this one is approaching that status on user-defined level. I found this article very helpful in resolving who is who and what is going when I started watching this show. Ronbo76 21:15, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Another user said the lyrics are copyvio meaning they are a copyright infringement and have to go.
Please don't shoot me as I am only the second messagener. Someone in the edit histories pointed out that lyrics are copyvio. I searched for copyvio here and was referred to WP:copyvio. Copyvio basically means that any copyrighted item cannot be placed on this article.
Unfortunately, the lyrics have to be deleted. I will do the deletion and bite the bullet.
Again, don't shoot me!!! Morenooso 20:33, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
