[edit] Clean-up

To Ambi's edit summary: I deemed the article atrocious at the time due to the many spelling, grammatical and other errors present in the article. The university's very name was in most places spelled incorrectly! --cj | talk 16:00, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

Oh dear. Have these been fixed? Ambi 22:42, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
I did a quick copy-edit before tagging it, and corrected most occurances. As I have more time, I'll review the article again.--cj | talk 06:05, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Logo copyright

I have marked the logo as lacking source info. A new logo should probably be sourced with proper source and fair use rational. --Martyman-(talk) 02:25, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] SRC

The information on La Trobe uni student associations should be moved to their own page, as per a recent seperation of Melbourne University Student Union from the University of Melbourne article

[edit] African Research Institute closure

I added a sentence re the recent closure of ARI. This is significant given its high reputaton and the fact it is apparently the only such body in Australasia.

In adding it to the history section it appears that that section could use some reorganization, perhaps under subheadings. Just a suggetion. --A12n 23:47, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

I wondered whether you could please include some evidence that it closed down. It's not that I don't believe you, but all information should be attributed to reliable sources. I looked at the obvious place (the ARI's homepage) and couldn't find anything about the closure. Thanks. -- Jitse Niesen (talk) 05:04, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
I read of it on H-Africa (the main African studies list on H-Net) in a message dated 30 March 2007. Just checked the ARI page per your note and note that the last annual report was for 2005. I would agree that more info / sources would be helpful. --A12n 01:42, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
