La Ronde (Roundabout) is a 1950 movie, directed by Max Ophüls based on Schnitzler's 1897 play of the same name. It tells a series of stories about love affairs: at the end of each, one of the partners forms a liaison with another person, and so on.
It stars Anton Walbrook, Simone Signoret, Serge Reggiani, Simone Simon, Daniel Gélin, Danielle Darrieux, Fernand Gravey, Odette Joyeux, Jean-Louis Barrault, Isa Miranda, and Gérard Philipe.
