This is the official French soundtrack to the film March of the Penguins (La Marche de l'empereur). This critically acclaimed soundtrack was composed by Émilie Simon. The album was nominated for Best Original Score in the 2006 César Awards, and won Best Original Soundtrack in the 2006 Victoires de la musique.

This album is the sound track for the original, French version of the movie The march of the Penguins (called La Marche de l'empereur). Despite the songs being sung in English, the English version of March of the Penguins has an alternate soundtrack by Alex Wurman.
