La Kalle 103.1 and 93.5 is a Spanish-English radio station in Chicago, Illinois. They are part of the family of Univisión Radio, a division of Univisión Communications. They are located on 625 North Michigan, right in the heart of downtown Chicago. Their Djs are Omar Ramos from 6-10 am, Armando Reyes 10am-3pm, David Miranda 3pm-7pm and Marialen Magaña from 7pm until midnight Monday-Friday. On weekends there is Mauricio Armando, Dione Rangel, Aileen Ocaña and el Mostro. Those are the people who also do remotes from all over the Chicago land area.

In Chicago, Spanish rock and pop used to be the main feature of the former Viva 95.3 and 103.1, but the Univision-owned FM station switched in July '05 to La Kalle and now plays mostly reggaeton, hip-hop in Spanish and bachata, a type of tropical dance music. (La calle means "the street," though Univision spells it with a slangy "K.")

"This thing is swelling and it's turning into a tsunami," Gonzalez(Univision Radio Vice President) said. "We had to deal with it quick. I don't think there is room for two reggaeton stations [in Chicago]. We had to be the first to do it."

Radio personality Miguel Vasquez, known as "Monstrocity," had played reggaeton on the station before the change in format and is excited about the switch.

The Station saying is " La Kalle 1031 y 935 Fm...reggaetone y mas...la Kalle Papa!"
