La Gaceta

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

La Gaceta (ISSN 0016-3724) is a weekly newspaper in Tampa, Florida, founded in 1922. Published in English, Spanish, and Italian, it is the only trilingual newspaper in the United States.

It was founded by Victoriano Manteiga, a Cuban immigrant, largely to serve the needs of the immigrant population of Tampa, mostly employed in the cigar industry. It is now published by his grandson Patrick, the third Manteiga at the helm.
