A number of ships of the French Navy of the Ancien régime have bourne the name Couronne (French for "crown"), notably
- La Couronne, first man of war built in France, in 1636
- La Couronne (1766), a 80-gun ship. Renamed Ça Ira in 1793, captured by Britain 1795. She was destroyed in an accidental fire in 1796
