La Baie, Quebec

La Baie was a city in northeastern Quebec, Canada where the Rivière à Mars flows into the Baie des Ha! Ha!, a bay of the Saguenay River. Its population in 2001 was 19,940.

La Baie was created by the result of the merger of three towns: Bagotville, Port-Alfred and Grande-Baie in 1976. In 2002, it was further amalgamated into the city of Saguenay.
