From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

L'Hebdo is a weekly French language magazine published from the city of Lausanne, Switzerland. It claims a circulation of 44,870 copies and a readership of 217 000. Its current editor in chief (as of February 2007) is Alain Jeannet. Its cover price is CHF 5.00 It is issued into circulation every Thursday. The magazine is owned by Éditions Ringier Romandie

The magazine has a leftist position. Most of its articles are by contributors with a clear sympathy for the Socialist Party of Switzerland and its projects. This is especially noticed during the periods previous to Elections or referendums. At these times, where the future of a proposed bill to become a law is at stake, the magazine takes a clear position in favor of the Socialist Party and its political ally the Green Party of Switzerland.

The magazine also has pro European Union tendencies. It often criticizes the fact that Switzerland is not a member of the EU.
