L’eggs
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
L'eggs is a popular brand of women's pantyhose which created a marketing sensation in the 1970s by placing its product in white plastic canisters in the shape of a chicken egg (albeit much larger) and garnering shelf space in grocery stores. Alas, parent company HanesBrands Inc. has ceased packaging the hosiery in the hard plastic shells. Despite the fact that the containers found myriad secondary uses for crafters, artists, and hobbyists, they were seen as an example of wastefulness.
