Lăzarea (Hungarian: Gyergyószárhegy) is a commune in Harghita County, Romania comprising 2 villages:

The commune has an absolute Székely (Hungarian) majority. According to the 2002 census it has a population of 3,607; of which 97.14% or 3,504 are Hungarian.
