László Fazekas (born October 15, 1947) was one of Hungary's greatest football players who played the second most international games for the Hungarian national team. Fazekas played in the 1978 and the 1982 World Cup. In the latter tournament, he scored two long shots in the historic 10-1 win over El Salvador at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero stadium.
Fazekas started to play football in the youth team of Újpesti Dózsa in 1958, and played his first game in the Hungarian League in 1965. He joined Belgian Royal Antwerp in 1980 at the age of 33, where he also became a favourite with the fans.
After his football carrier he became a notable coach in Belgium leading Eendracht Aalst (1986-88 and 1990-91) and Royal Antwerp (1995-96).
