László Berkecz

László Berkecz (born November 18, 1943) is the former mayor of Soltvadkert, Hungary.
Born in Soltvadkert, Hungary, Berkecz is a professional painter. He comes from a blue-collar family, his father was a tailor. In 1985, he was elected to the Soltvadkert City Council. In 1990 he became mayor, replacing Károly Nagy.
He is a member of the Alliance of Free Democrats party.
He's married, his daughter attends college in Germany and his son is an auto mechanic student.
