Kyudo Nakagawa

Kyudo Nakagawa, Roshi is a Japanese Zen monk and priest, the dharma successor of Soen Nakagawa, Roshi. He was appointed the twelfth abbot of Ryutakuji Monastery in Japan in 1990. He is also abbot of the Soho Zendo in New York City, which he founded in 1981.
Kyodo Roshi was written about in Ambivalent Zen: One Man's Adventures on the Dharma Path, well-reviewed memoir by his student Lawrence Shainberg.
