Kyrgyzstan at the 2006 Winter Olympics is part of WikiProject Central Asia, a project to improve all Central Asia-related articles. This includes but is not limited to Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Xinjiang, Tibet and Central Asian portions of Iran and Russia, region-specific topics, and anything else related to Central Asia. If you would like to help improve this and other Central Asia-related articles, please join the project. All interested editors are welcome. |
Two concerns: most other articles for smaller participating nations mention who carried their national flag, and I assume this should be added here. Also, the map of participating nations (by number of athletes) on Wikipedia's main 2006 Winter Olympics page does not show Kyrgystan as participating. Are we sure this guy showed up?
- He marched in with the rest, anyway [1]. As the giant slalom and slalom events haven't been held yet, we'll just have to wait. (But, IMO, it is a bit redundant to say "Borisov carried the flag"). Sam Vimes 16:37, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
