[edit] Kyle Rayner Redirect

I originally posted this in Apostrophe's user talk page, but he/she never got back to me, so I'll put it in the open. I just wanted to say I think Kyle's main page should stay at Kyle Rayner, since the character has been known longer as that. The (second) Ion development is a recent change and changing his name in the Green Lantern Corps footer and everything might confuse someone who doesn't know him as Ion. Further, the vast majority of the information on the page relates to him as Green Lantern Kyle Rayner, not as Ion. I propose either a split page (where the Kyle Rayner page deals mostly with his run as a Green Lantern and has a brief section on Ion that leads to the main Ion page and where the Ion page can be fleshed out as more about the new version of the character becomes available) or returning to the Kyle Rayner page. What are your thoughts? --Rocketgoat 04:13, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Further, three of the five current categories on this page (Green Lantern Corps members, Justice League members, DC Comics Titans members) apply to Kyle Rayner, but not necessarily to Ion, who we still know practically nothing about. --Rocketgoat 22:13, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

It seems like this page should focus on Kyle Rayner, talk about who he is in his civilian life, his introduction to the DC Comics universe, his multiple alter egos (with a link to the Green Lantern page and a new Ion page), controversy section, and various character appearances. [edit] The other Ion

The Blazing Skull article incorrectly links to this one. That character has a niece (as revealed in Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe entries) that is also called Ion. More about her here: http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/ionmachi.htm -Kevingarcia 06:59, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Controversy

I'm eliminating the bit about the transition from Barry to Wally as being "controversial." There's nothing about any controversy on either the Barry, Wally or Flash pages.

I altered the wording on Hal's rampage. It initially said he had killed the entire GL Corps. He killed a number of Lanterns, yes, but others were simply depowered by his destruction of the Central Battery. I thought the wording was misleading. Rajah1 11:37, November 18 2006

I think the wording in the controversy section of this article is a bit biased against the character. - Rayner23 1:38 p.m. December 18 2006

[edit] Hawkworld Annual#2

In this future, a Green Lantern resembling Kyle Rayner appears. Enda80 14:35, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Enda80

[edit] Powers and abilities

This article needs a powers and abilities section with Green Lantern and Ion subsections for non-readers like myself to understand better. I mean, it's not cryptic as it is, it's just part of the general how-to-write-superhero-articles MOS.~ZytheTalk to me! 15:01, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
