Kyle Young

Kyle Young was born on March 5, 1984 in Fallbrook, California. He is currently a prospect for the 2007 NFL Draft.

Young attended Fallbrook Union, where he was a first-team all-area by the San Diego Union-Tribune. He played multiple positions on the offensive line for Randy Blankenship and Dennis Houlihan.

Young red shirted in 2002. As a redshirt freshman in 2003, he started all 14 games, was an Honorable Mention All-WAC selection, and a Freshman All-America honoree by Football Writers of America. In 2004, Young started all 12 games, was selected second-team All-WAC after another stellar season, and made the Rimington Award Watch List. As of the week of November 6, 2006, Kyle has been suspended by the Bulldogs for an academic requirement violation. It is unclear if he will return this season.
