Kyle Vincent

Kyle Vincent is a recording artist, songwriter, and producer in the United States.

Born Feb. 12, 1967 in Berkeley, California, U.S.A. Lead singer/rhythm guitarist in the Los Angeles Pop band, Candy, signed to Mercury/Polygram which released their album Whatever Happened To Fun. The band Candy featured Gilby Clarke who would subsequently join Guns N' Roses, Heart, MC5, and recently Rock Star Supernova with Tommy Lee of Mötley Crüe. Vincent subsequently signed as a solo artist to MCA and recorded the album, "Trust" (unreleased), then toured as the opening act for Barry Manilow on his "Greatest Hits" tour. Kyle signed with Disney's Hollywood Records which released his album, "Kyle Vincent", which spawned the U.S. Billboard/Radio & Records Adult Top 20 single, "Wake Me Up (When The World's Worth Waking Up For)", co-written by Electric Light Orchestra (The Orchestra), vocalist/guitarist Parthenon Huxley. "Wake Me Up..." also featured in the Garry Marshall directed motion picture, The Other Sister, starring Juliette Lewis, Diane Keaton, and Tom Skerritt. Released "Wow & Flutter" on SongTree Records/Varese Sarabande. "Solitary Road", "Don't You Know", "Gathering Dust" released on SongTree Records. In 2006 Vincent was signed to Universal which released a compilation CD on their UMe Digital label entitled, "Invisible Man". In 2007 the DVD "Live & Unlive Too" was released.

Other career highlights: Featured performer at 2003 inauguration of then Nebraska governor, and current U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Johanns. Received commendations from former U.S. President Bill Clinton and former U.S. Senator Bob Dole

Environmental work: Vincent personally trained by former Vice President Al Gore in Nashville, TN to be an official presenter of the documentary "An Inconvenient Truth". Song, "Sierra", adopted by the Sierra Club and John Denver's Windstar Foundation. "Sierra" included on the "Dear Earth" double CD released Earth Day, 2007. Other artists include Gladys Knight, John Denver, Melanie, and readings from the Dalai Lama, Benjamin Tutu, and more.
