Kyle Andrews

Kyle Andrews (born 1980) is a member of the Legislature of Niagara County, New York.
Andrews is a resident of Wilson, New York and is currently serving his third term as a member of the Niagara County Legislature. He was first elected in 2001, while a senior at Niagara University and was reelected in 2003 and 2005. He is a Democrat, but has run with the backing of the Republican Party. In addition to a degree from Niagara University he holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University at Buffalo. During his first term in the County Legislature he was Chairman of the Administration Committee and Chairman of the Parks and Environment Committee. He has been the Youngest County Elected Official in the Country during his tenure.
Andrews is known for his hard working campaign style and his laid back personal style. He won in 2001 in a Republican district against a long time incumbent, by knocking on every door and meeting with voters. He also carried minor party lines in the race.
Andrews represents the 14th Legislative District which includes all of Wilson, New York, all of Cambria, New York, and part of Newfane, New York. The district is a majority Republican district and rural. Currently he serves on three Legislature committees: Community Safety and Security, Economic Development, and Public Works.
Outside of the Legislature, he has worked as a law clerk and bartender.
