Kyiv Post

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kyiv Post is Ukraine’s leading English language publication, covering business, politics, and society in this former Soviet republic. Founded in 1995 by U.S. citizen Jed Sunden, the weekly supports democratic politics and open markets. Over the years it has led the charge for a free press in Ukraine, and has played roles in the Gongadze scandal, the Orange Revolution, and other significant Ukrainian events. It is produced by a mixed team of Western and Ukrainian journalists.
