KXRZ, or Z99, is a Hot Adult Contemporary radio station in Alexandria, Minnesota broadcasting on 99.3 FM. Z99 is owned by Paradis Broadcasting Inc. which also owns KXRA-FM and KXRA-AM. Every morning between 6am-9am and again at noon,Z99 provides their listeners with local news and Weather Eye Forcast at the top and bottom between 6am-9am, and then again at noon. Z99 provides the Hollywood Minute weekday morning between 6am-9am.

The station airs a satellite feed from Jones Radio Networks, called "The '80s, '90s and Now", at all times besides the morning show.

Z99 originally started out as The Lakes 99.3 (KSTQ). In December of 1998, the FCC canceled the license of 3 Branstock Communications radio stations. KSTQ Alexandria, KMSR Sauk Centre, and KMGK Glenwood. KMGK is still broadcasting now known has Smooth Magic 107. In February of 2000 Paradis Broadcasting purchased KSTQ 99.3 and changed it's letter to KXRZ. KXRZ is now known as Z99.

Z99 is well known for their Thousand Dollar Name Game. Throughout the week, listeners give their name to the station. During the day, the station reads names and once their name is read on air, they have 10 minutes to call back to qualify for the Friday drawing. On Friday, one lucky listener who gave their name to the station and qualified could possibly win $1,000.

In the month of January, Z99 plays the RE-DO YOU CONTEST. Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Z99 will read off names of those who sent there name in to Z99. Within ten minutes of Z99 announcing a name, the qualifier has 10 minutes to qualify for the Z99 RE-DO YOU CONTEST.
