KWPX is an ION (formerly PAX and i) television station serving Seattle, Washington and Bellevue, Washington, owned by ION Media Networks, formerly Paxson Communications. KWPX signed on the air as KBGE on May 17, 1989. KWPX's local administrative office is shared with Belo Corporation's KING-TV, just west of the Seattle Center, though since July 2005, KING no longer has any operating agreement with KWPX.

The network programing on Friday includes. qubo in the afternoon and ION Life in the early evening. Both programing blocks are planed to be a full time digital sub channels in 2007.
When the station first signed on the air, its transmitter site was atop the Columbia Center Tower. The transmitter site was later moved to West Tiger Mountain -- which is also known as West Tiger #3.
On most Western Washington cable TV systems, KWPX is typically located as channel 15 or channel 3.
