"KWCA" is the CW affiliate for the Central Coast of California, operated by KSBY, the area's NBC affiliate. The station is part of The CW Plus, a series of cable outlets for markets below the top hundred in the country, and is carried on cable systems in San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria and Santa Barbara. The call sign is fictional, as it is not an FCC-licensed broadcast station; it is available only on Central Coast cable systems on channel 5 and digitally over-the-air on KSBY channel 6.2 / 15.2.
KWCA originally carried WB programming via "The WB 100+" to a cable-only audience until September 2006, when The WB and UPN merged to form The CW.
