Kwai Chi (born August 23, 1981) is a British Chinese actor who was born career in Investment Banking after his first year of university. He was influenced and encouraged to become an actor by fellow actor Richard Burke, whom he met at the age of twenty one. Kwai Chi eventually changed careers and trained to be an actor.
He wanted to help other actors especially those who could not afford drama school so he set up KC Actors Studio in Central London.
In 2005, Kwai Chi took on a major film role in the film "The Men in White" playing one of the lead characters.
Kwai Chi has featured on Basil Brush and choreographed and featured in Robbie Williams' "Misunderstood" music video. Kwai Chi has also helped launched a major Adidas campaign and worked with Guy Ritchie, Jason Statham and Robbie Williams.
Kwai Chi is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is a former British Champion. Kwai Chi has taken hobbies to the next level on more than one occasion. Between 2003 and 2004 Kwai Chi was a professional top 100 pro 9 ball pool player in the UK Pro 9 ball rankings using parts of his real name Hing Sum.
Kwai Chi started video blogging on the 13th June 2006 on YouTube and has gained a small fanbase. Kwai Chi has been interviewed by national newspaper "The Daily Telegraph" and "BBC Radio 1" about lifestyle changes and charity work for comic relief respectively.
