Kvicksund

Kvicksund is an urban area on the shores of Lake Mälaren, Sweden. It stretches over the border between the municipalities of Västerås and Eskilstuna. The population as of 2000 is 1,566. Kvicksund is mainly situated in two different areas, one on the southern shore and one on the northern. The northern part is confined to the island of Nyckelön while the southern part is on the mainland.
