[edit] History
KVEG originally signed on the air in 2001 as a Mainstream Urban outlet targeting the African-american audience. But by 2002 they would shift to a Rhythmic Contemporary Hits direction by adding Rhythmic Pop and Dance product(The latter they would scale back on). They are also one of two Rhythmics in the market, KLUC being the other.
KVEG was once the call letters of AM-1400 during the 1980s.
