A middle class hindu family from chengamanadu in melila panchayat of kottarakkara Taluk in kollam district, south kerala.
Members are primarly professionals in Information Technology, Engineering, Research, Law, and Trading.
The first generation depended solely on agriculture, which was even the main source of Indian Economy during those times. The second generation of family members moved to different districts in Kerala owning their own professional commitments and also adapting to social changes that was happening during that time in Kerala, creation the nuclear family system.
Now the kuzhivilites (someone who belongs to kuzhivila), are spread all over the world, most of them settled in various parts of India
