Other then the title of the now dead IHT link, nothing says exactly what the outcome of the said election was. Anyone know? 68.39.174.238 22:25, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

The IHT link still works for me. Here is the relevant part of the article:
“ Analysts and newspapers said a strong showing by the opposition - a loose coalition of pro-reform lawmakers, Islamists, leftists and liberals - raised the possibility of deeper tensions between the new assembly and the government. Opposition candidates won two- thirds of the seats, state media reported. ”
