Kuvempunagar is a locality in Mysore, a city in southern India. It is named after the famous Kannada poet Kuppalli Venkatappa Puttappa who wrote under the pseudonym of Kuvempu.

Kuvempunagar has been planned keeping the great poet in mind and hence all the main streets in this locality are named after his works.
