Kurt Röthlisberger

Kurt Röthlisberger (born May 21, 1951). Is a retired football referee from Switzerland. He is mostly known for supervising five matches in the FIFA World Cup. Two in 1990 and three in 1994. And in that World Cup he had a disputed decision in the game between Germany and Belgium when he did not award penalty to Belgium when their player Josip Weber became tripped inside of the penalty area. He also refereed the UEFA Champions League final in 1993.
