Kurinjipadi was famous for its hand loom products. The hand loom lunges are very famous in many countries like, Singapore, Malaysia, Srilanka and Gulf countries. It is strategically located (close to Chidambaram, Cuddalore, Panruti, Neyveli and virudachalam). Kurinjipadi has famous temples for Putthu Mariyamman, Eswaran, Perumal, Subburayar and many Vinayaga temples such as Anandha vinayagr and Kurinji vinayagar. The dairy products and crops from this region are very good quality. There are many well educated people from this town. Almost every household has some one with a diploma or degree.
