Kurimoto, Chiba

Kurimoto (栗源町; -machi) is a town located in Katori District, Chiba, Japan.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 5,209 and a density of 179.31 persons per km². The total area is 29.05 km².

On March 27, 2006, Kurimoto and the towns of Omigawa and Yamada from Katori District merged with the city of Sawara to form the new city of Katori.
