Kurdsat TV is a Kurdish satellite television station based in Iraqi Kurdistan belongs to Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK). It broadcasts programmes mainly in Kurdish language. Other languages such as Turkmeni, Persian and Arabic are also used in some programmes. Kurdsat TV began broadcasting in 01/01/2000 and was among the first Kurdish satellite stations in Iraqi Kurdistan. Kurdsat TV is accessible live through Internet and also maintains a website for recent news and commentaries in English, Kurdish and Arabic.
