Kurdish traditional clothings (Kurdish: Cilî Kurdî) are variant. Kurdish women wear colorful clothes.

Kurds wear long sorts of clothes. Traditional Kurdish clothing uses belts hats and long robes • Kurds also used puffed up pants (and white shoes). • Hats were usually this shape. • The women wear two dresses, one on top of the other. The outer one has a low neckline which shows off the high neckline of the under garment. • Kurdish clothing is sometimes entirely embroidered in bands of multicolored flowers. • Sometimes Kurdish woman wear a turban and a veil. • They also wear a vest over their clothes, or a special type of over coat. Kurdish jewellary combines amber and turquoise beads with gold or silver. • Kurdish men usually wear the sherwal, an open necked shirt and tie a turban such as the women wear around the head. • Veils are made of sheer white cotton and may be edged with beads. • Veils fall at either side of the face but do not cover it. • Bright colour of dress characterize the appearance of the Kurdish people. • Their costumes are for everyday wear and are not reserved only for holidays
