Intuition (gut feeling)
Howdy, I saw you deleted an article I prod'ed, Intuition (gut feeling) on July 15th. The original author of the page just contacted me and indicated that s/he'd not returned to Wikipedia, and had not seen the note about it until recently. In terms of the course of action from here, do you think it would be better to restore the page and have a AfD discussion? While I have misgivings about the page (topical duplication of Intuition (knowledge) and WP:OR), I'd hate to see good material be lost on an issue of timing. Sorry for the inconvience. I hope your vacation is restful. --TeaDrinker 20:46, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
MobCulture
Four days is not enough time to contest the deletion of an article. I'm not sure what you have against MobCulture or its owners, but deleting it after all it went through to stay on Wiki when it was first made.. is crap. Do the right thing. Petition for that page to be reinstated. Thank you. -- Sabin4232 01:03, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

regarding article DattaPeetham
Hi I've found that article DattaPeetham has been deleted under proposed deletions. Can I know the one who proposed it for the deletion and the reason. Moreover, there wasn't any controversial content. So, Can I get that article back.
Thank u --Makampec 18:20, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Barry Gurary
Why did you delete the article about him? His struggle for Chabad leadership and books is very sugnificant in Chabad history. To remember you, there exist articles in wikipedia on various claimants to European thrones, although they might be a third or fourth generation from reigning monarch.Narshavs 09:09, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
Userfy request
I noticed that you have deleted EliteSecurity as an uncontested prod. Could you please userfy the contents of that page to my userspace? I would like to start a (sourced) article on Elite Security, and would like to have the old page to see if there is anything usefull there. Of course, I wont be starting an article untill I have gathered enough references. Thank you. Shinhan 18:37, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Mistaken ban
Hi, recently while i have been looking at artiles i followed a link and I have found out that I am banned from editing. I only have 1 account and no one else uses this computer. I have only edited 1 page or restored that page because it had been vandalised and that is basicly the only editing i have done. Could you please look into this when you get back.
Thanks, Godfreybr

Test of Memory Malingering
Leaving another post. My article on the TOMM was deleted. Original research was cited. I posted the APA citation for the article containing the normative data from the test's author. This is not my research. This is a widely used test in the field of psychology. It is not mine. Please replace my article. If I do not recieve a response, I will repost this legitimate, properly created and cited article. Don't treat a Charleston native so badly.Budd1nw 02:51, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- Can't you be a little more specific on the article that was deleted? Put the name in Wiki links. Please remember that we have a deletion policy, and it is nothing against you if an article gets deleted. I am also a Charleston native, but that is rather irrelevant... I can't find the article by the name that you give, and since there are thousands of articles that get deleted, there is no way I will remember why it was deleted. The articles on Wikipedia are not yours, or mine- once you publish an article on the article space, it is subject to the deletion policy. --Kungfu Adam (talk) 03:04, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
Searching for article about Barry Gurary you deleted
Hi Kungfuadam: I have been searching for an article about Barry Gurary, the only grandson and surviving male heir of the sixth Chabad-Lubavitch rebbe, that you deleted on August 11, 2006. Several editors, including myself, who are very familair with Hasidic Judaism contributed to that article and it is still felt that it was notable enough for Wikipedia. This is the only record of your actions that I can locate [1] which records: "17:42, 11 August 2006 Kungfuadam (Talk | contribs) deleted "Barry Gurary" (closing prod uncontested since 6 Aug)." Now I have a few problems with this entire episode. Firstly, do you know enough about the subject to have made that decision? Secondly, try as I may, why can I not find any listing of the nomination for the deletion and your imprimatur to delete the Barry Gurary article on the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2006 August 6 log? Thirdly, why is there no history of your deletion of this article on your own "user contributions" page when I tried to find a link to your act of deleting this article on your history page that covers August 11, 2006 at [2] when I searched for it? Unless you simply treated this as a "quick delete." Finally, whoever nominated the article for deletion in the first place may well have had a POV agenda that you may have missed. Please bear in mind that over the summer months many regular editors were away, or not as active, and it was a time that anyone who wanted to have that article eradicated got their way simply by "fooling the system". I would urge you to exercise greater caution in such situations in the future. I would appreciate some feedback soon. Thanks a lot. IZAK 10:30, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
P.S. See more talk about this at Talk:Shemaryahu Gurary#Barry Gurary. Thanks. IZAK 10:39, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
- I think what these two editors mean to say is that they would like to contest that prod after the fact, which policy permits. The article would then be submitted for a full AfD discussion. Consider undeleting it for them. - CrazyRussian talk/email 13:02, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

- go ahead and nominate it for deletion. I should stay neutral because I deleted it in the first place.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 13:17, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

The gallery that this user is adding (several times already) contains copyrighted images that should not be on his userpage ber WP:FU. I am too lazy to determine the copyright status of every single image so I just removed the whole gallery, but the fair use pics have to go. Happy editing, Kusma (討論) 21:43, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Princeton-56ers deletion
I am new to wikipedia and have very little knowledge of the rules. I recently produced the Princeton-56ers page (the first and only page I've made). I spent a lot of time making this page for my soccer team and just recently noticed that it had been deleted. I have no idea as to why considering I play for the team and have permission to use any images on the page. Why was it deleted and how do I go about getting it restored? -- 204.11.129.49 02:52, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- The reason for deletion was Amateur sports teams are not notable.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 10:56, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Geoffrey B. Cain
You deleted the article about Geoffrey B. Cain because you only found 12 items in your google search and he has only published one novel. He has published a lot more poetry in journals as well as short stories. I do not understand why winners of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" warrant when a novelist and poet doesn't. I was out of town and didn't see the five day notice.DanteSB 22:20, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Animal testing???
Ok, I've been a Wikipedian for a while but have been editing less of late, and I'm still trying to get my head around some of the rules. The article List of charities by animal testing policy was deleted by you as a PROD. Yet the rules of PROD say:
If you think that an article is an uncontroversial candidate for deletion...
I can't understand how anyone could see anything related to animal testing as uncontroversial, no matter how they feel on the subject. If I'm reading this rule wrong, please let me know. If I'm not please restore the article and tag it as an AfD if necessary (I'm not sure why it was nominated in the first place). Assuming good faith, AussieDingo1983 09:15, 12 September 2006 (UTC).
- You didn't catch the meaning of this policy. It is not the subject that is controversial or not, it is the nomination of the deletion. This article was proposed for deletion by someone (and seconded by someone else). The reason for proposed deletion was "Appears to be original research, with no references, criteria, dates, etc. Hard to maintain and possibly libelous. Also United States-centric." My thoughts on this are that it is only a random colletion of information, which is something that Wikipedia is not. If you still want it restored, I can, but I assure you it won't survive theArticles for deletion phase.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 10:54, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Ok, I get it. Perhaps there is somewhere this could be explained in the deletion log or something, because this certainly isn't obvious without asking an administrator. Thanks for the help. AussieDingo1983 06:26, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

VandalProof
Hi, thanks for blocking the Poundland vandal. I am using VandalProof, (I'm new at it) and when I reported the vandalism to AIV, it reported the wrong IP address. Have you heard of such a thing, or do you think I just hit a wrong key by mistake? --BostonMA 13:22, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Deletion of ILM (Infrastructure Lifecycle Management)
Greetings,
I created the page for ILM (Infrastructure Lifecycle Management) some time ago and I was surprised to find that it was deleted.
The term ILM is gaining acceptance in the real estate and other industries.
Here are a few websites which mention this term:
http://www.meridiansystems.com/ http://www.conject.com/en http://www.document-manager.com/cco/reviews.asp?a_id=114 http://itc.scix.net/cgi-bin/works/Show?w78-2005-kn-k1-forgber http://www.ilm2006.com (there is a whole conference on this subject in Germany)
Please consider undeleting this term.
Thanks! Keith

Unblock request
Dear Kungfuadam , I have been unjustly blocked. My name is Marina Cummings. My IP address is 65.19.174.35. My IP address has been blocked by admin Kungfuadam as on Wikipedia as it is believed to be an open proxy or zombie computer. As you can see, I am a person, I have an e-mail address, I have posted on many Boards with no problem, I have edited on Wikipedi for several months. Now I am blocked. I do not wish to abuse or spam you or Wikipedia, or whatever! My family and I use the Primedius Internet connection to prevent stalking and for financial security. It is not an open proxy but a service which is paid for with a credit card, with an address, phone number and personal details given to the service provider. I realise I share the IP address with others who may have behaved improperly on Wikipedia, but it was not me!! I would like to continue editing on Wikipedia. What should I do? Can you not block people by their User name rather than their IP address? I have followed the discussion on this issue (<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:No_open_proxies>) and I think that most editor's opinions would support my point of view.
Thanks Marina Cummings
- This is the reason why- [3]--Kungfu Adam (talk) 22:57, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Dear Kungfuadam, Yes I understand. As with AOL, schools,Universities and so on, many people share an IP address. I did not vandalize that article on "Pye" (i confess my ignorance - I have never even heard of the person). I repeat, I do not wish to abuse or spam you or Wikipedia, and I have NEVER done so.! My family and I use the Primedius Internet connection to prevent stalking and for financial security. It is not an open proxy but a service which is paid for with a credit card, with an address, phone number and personal details given to the service provider. I see from your answer clearly that I share the IP address with someone who is a vandal, but it was not me!! I would like to ask you again: Can you not block people by their User name rather than their IP address?
Please consider it, it is unfair to block innocent people.Surely the software can be designed to block the Username? Wikipedia is the loser in this policy as it stands now.
Marina Cummings
- There was no username used. They were anonymous editors. I will unblock it now.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 21:24, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Dear Kungfuadam, I very much appreciate it. I do see your dilemma though: now my IP address is out there, someone -a potential or actual vandal let's say - can log in using my IP number as his/her user name, vandalize Wikipedia all over the place, and WHAM you have to block ME again!!!!Or that person(s) may also use Primedius to surf the net and anonymously vandalize Wikipedia..... I will try and find a solution to the situation. I will NOT use that IP number for the moment, and I will only ever use it in combination with my usernames MarinaC, or Marina C (2), or this one never ever anonymously. I realize that this isn't really such a brilliant solution, but it is the best I can do for now. I will work with you in any way that I can. Marina E.Cummings 14:37, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
- Now, we can block only anonymous users or username only. If I block open proxies, from now on, I can just block the IP while allowing registered usernames.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 17:29, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Apgar Real Estate Score
Hi! Could you please explain why this article was deleted (on 8/15/06)? I developed this article for my client, Sandy Apgar, and he wants to know why it has disappeared and whether it can be undeleted. this is annoying - what gives you the right? What are my options for appeal, and who do I escalate this to? Djg2006 23:34, 24 September 2006 (UTC)djg2006
The article you wrote is crap. It is total nonsense.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 23:35, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
I made statements of fact. What do you mean by crap - be specific. If you can't, revert my stuff or I will lodge a complaint aginst you. Djg2006 23:40, 24 September 2006 (UTC)djg2006
- Hi Djg2006. I saw the above comment so I thought I would share my opinion. I believe that you made your edits in good faith, believing them to be true. I have seen similar stuff on the internet. However, I also believe that your additions are incorrect, and do not belong in an encyclopedia, except in an article on conspiracy theories related to 9/11. Specifically, the claim that no steel framed structure has suffered similar failure in a fire is false. I do not specialize in this 9/11 stuff, so I cannot recall at the moment the example that is often cited, but there is such an example. If necessary, I will search for it, but I would much rather that you do the searching, since it is you who wishes to change the article. Sincerely, --BostonMA 00:01, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
- I am sorry- I thought you said I deleted your article. I apologize. I deleted another article that was total nonsense. I just reverted your changes.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 00:09, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
- Adam, Thanks for your message. Apologies accepted - in the future, you may want to consider double checking before you hit the "save"button. I don't see the changes you mentioned - would you please check this?
Blocked?
I was recently blocked on my article about Jake Hecox because someone who used my computer with an unacceptable username. It was not me and I'm terribly sorry if that person bothered you, but I would greatly appreciate it if you would post my entry.

I don't understand why you made this edit: [4] - the book that was added appears to be a real work, and is probably therefore relevant to the article. Why did you feel it needed to be removed? Thanks 82.45.248.177 20:03, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Barefoot Deep Tissue
Howdy Adam, You treated my Barefoot Deep Tissue article like the clam in your poem! Can you inform me why you deleted it? I was quite surprised.
My mentor was asked by a prominent USA publisher to write a 2nd book on this subject this year. He has also taught thousands of students around the world- mainly in USA and Australia. He started an Aussie sports massage school which they developed into a national licensing curriculum. You can look on my site svacina.com for more info about this modality. BTW- my old boss retired to SC- great guy- I hope that he is well. Obrigado, Paul Psnack 08:25, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
