Kunowice

Kunowice (Kunersdorf in German) is a village in Poland in Słubice County, (Lubusz Voivodship), east of Słubice, near Puszcza Rzepińska. It has 530 inhabitants (1998).

In 12 August 1759 at the Battle of Kunersdorf, the army of Frederick the Great of Prussia was destroyed in Kunowice by Russian and Austrian armies.

The Kunowice railway station appeared in the 2004 German film Distant Lights (Lichter).
