Kunigal (Kannada: ಕುಣಿಗಲ್) is a town in Tumkur district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is the headquarters of Kunigal taluk.

Kunigal is located at [1]. It has an average elevation of 773 metres (2536 feet). It is situated on the National Highway 48 connecting Nelamangala and Mangalore.
