Hello, welcome to my page on trading and rearing Lepidoptera. I have been rearing select species of Lepidoptera over the past few years. I usually specialize in Saturniidae, specifically the genus Actias. While rearing them, I take pictures of each instar, and upload that information here to Wikipedia. I also flesh out the article and provide a detailed guide of the life cycle to help other amateur Entomologists and those who simply want to learn. I have also used some macro shots to identify some caterpillar morphology. I am still in college (Entomology major), so I do not have a lot of spare money. I am willing to trade for (or purchase) most any species that I could I raise. I do not make a profit off any species I receive and the money I make selling them goes towards purchasing the next species to photograph. If you wish to contact me, do so at kugamazog at gmail dot com.
Below are the species that I have raised so far, and some examples of the pictures I have taken for this pet project.
For a full gallery of all of the images I have uploaded, please click here. A large number of the images there were taken of dead specimens in an insect collection and are not involved with this pet project.
