The Kuei-jin are a fictional group of vampires in the Vampire: The Masquerade roleplaying game sourcebook Kindred of the East by White Wolf, Inc., based loosely on the hopping corpse legends of China. The term consists of the Chinese word kuei (鬼; "demon" or "ghost") and the Japanese suffix -jin (人; "person"), and was created by the younger generation of vampires to mediate between Japanese and Chinese members of their kind. They rely on Chi to resolve their imbalances between Yin and Yang.
