The Kubrawiya order is a Sufi order ("tariqa") named after its 13th century founder Najmeddin Kubra. One of the branches, the Nurbakhshi Kubrawi lineage, embraced Shi'ism and is named after Muhammad Nurbakhsh. Another existing branch of the Kubrawiya order is the Oveyssi-Shahmaghsoudi order.[1]
