Kuali Foundation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Kuali Foundation coordinates the development of free/open source administrative software under the Educational Community License. The name Kuali came from the Malaysian word for wok. At a time when many administrative systems are costing tens of millions of dollars for colleges and universities, the notion of a wok -- a humble, but essential dish -- seemed appropriate.
The Kuali Foundation is incorporated in the United States as a not-for-profit, 501c3 corporation. Its by-laws and articles of incorporation are posted at [1].
