KTurtle is an educational programming environment. It is released under the GNU General Public License (copyleft free software license) and is part the KDE desktop environment. KTurtle has a build in programming language that is loosely based on the Logo programming language, with as unique quality that the programming commands are translated to the human language of the programmer.

KTurtle is been packaged by many Linux/BSD distributions, including Red Hat Linux, Suse, Mandrake, and Debian. Some distributions package KTurtle as a separate application, some just provide on package for the whole kdeedu module, which includes KTurtle.
