[edit] History

KTUZ went on the air as KQOK "OK30", which aired mainly programming from Jewelry Television from ACN. Channel 30 also aired some religious and children's programming. For a brief period, KQOK also aired Bonanza reruns and the Independent News Network.

In 2004, KQOK was sold to Oklahoma City-based Tyler Media from its original owners, Equity Broadcasting, which now owns KUOK. The station was to become an affiliate of Telemundo on New Year's Day 2005. However, a few attempts of trying to relaunch Channel 30 failed, but the station did manage to relaunch as KTUZ Telemundo 30 in early February 2005.
