I have responded to your message on my talk page. --Vivin Paliath (വിവി൯ പാലിയത്) 07:28, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Nayar vs. Nair

I think we should stick to "Nair" for the Nambiar article, since that is the common usage. Also, please check out my response on the talk page. You might be wondering why I changed the Nambiar article again. It's because of the same debate in the Nair page. --vi5in[talk] 17:24, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Much Better :)

Yeah, that is much better. Also, just to give you a heads-up, the article will be moved to Nambiar (Nair Subcaste) because Nair is a much more common spelling than Nayar. --vi5in[talk] 18:52, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Just to add, the article still needs a lot of work. --vi5in[talk] 18:53, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Nair

Kshatriyan, although I agree with the concept, we cannot add it because we have no references to the same. It is our interpretation, but we don't have any verifiable references for it. Check out Wikipedia:Attribution. It combines "No Original Research" and "Verifiability", both of which are required. If you are able to find a reference from somewhere that states that Nairs followed the Kshatriya Dharma, then we can add it. That being said, I am working on a new section that clarifies the position of Nairs. --vi5in[talk] 14:55, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
