Regarding this text:

"In the series Smallville it is unknown whether or not the Kryptonians are naturally powerful. There has been no indications on solar energy being the source of their super-human powers and some episodes in Smallville go as far to suggest that Kryptonians are naturally powerful."

it is worth mentioning that in the season 3 episode "Perry" the appearance of solar flares disrupts Clark's powers, sometimes shutting them off, sometimes making them go berserk. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 146.164.6.190 (talk) 16:54, 1 February 2007 (UTC).
